The necessary new patient paperwork can be found on our website. To save time, please complete them electronically before your visit. They’re so easy to fill out you can even do them using your smartphone.

Also, please refrain from drinking coffee or energy drinks within two hours of your appointment. That’s because the caffeine can interfere with the heart rate variability test that you will be given. We also encourage you to wear comfortable clothing.

The first visit will take about 45 minutes. As you enter the office, you’ll be warmly greeted by our receptionist, who will answer any questions you may have. We’ll then take you on a brief tour of the clinic before meeting with Dr. Chad, who will conduct a thorough assessment. This evaluation includes the following:

•  A consultation, including a detailed health history
•  An orthopedic evaluation
•  A thermal scan (a bilateral spinal temperature measurement to detect inflammation)
•  Surface EMG (a painless measurement of the electrical energy in the spinal muscles)
•  The Pulse Wave Profiler (a heart rate variability test to measure how your body is handling stress
•  X-rays, if necessary (we will refer you to a convenient outside facility)

Your second visit will take about 30 minutes. During this visit, Dr. Chad will deliver a report of findings, which is a thorough review of your examination, scan and X-ray results (if ordered). Customized care options will be discussed, and a plan of action reviewed to help you meet your stated goals, whether it’s to simply get out of pain or pursue a path of wellness.

We also will review our affordable financial options with you. Please note that we are a cash practice and do not accept insurance. (However, we can provide a “superbill” that can be submitted to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.)

Once all of your questions are answered to your satisfaction, you’ll be able to start on your recommended care plan and receive your first chiropractic adjustment.

Subsequent visits usually take between 5-10 minutes, depending on the complexity of your case. Adjustments may also include instrument-assisted myofascial release. As Dr. Chad has extensive experience in soft tissue work, he may also incorporate some gentle stretching and massage techniques to assist you in healing quickly.

Once we’ve been successful in eliminating your pain and correcting your problem, many of our patients opt to receive ongoing chiropractic adjustments, referred to as wellness care. The purpose of this care is to maintain the BETTER LIFE you have achieved through chiropractic care and introduce stability. This means coming in to be checked on a regular basis so you can live your best life!
